I penned an article for PaidContent about the changing face of media in 2011 and beyond.
“The brutal truth, rightly or wrongly is this: consuming news remains laborious and a significant time/space commitment, whatever your age or situation.” Read the rest of this entry »

All you need to go viral [finger wiggles!!!] is laughs…What you should be asking your next digital agency…Behaviour is changing on Facebook…so is the news feed once this is widely read…which is good because they’ve lost your ID…Twitter can sell your photos and you get nadda…Games for Xbox’s Kinect look Wii-ish…Editor and Publisher fire all their staff and turn to experts…Yahoo is offering Facebook connect but with Yahoo…Death of print greatly overrated…ish.
I first met John Abell… well I haven’t met John Abell but I want to! He’s a smart cookie when it comes to publishing and technology (Chief-ing for Wired you might expect that) and he calls a shovelling device a shovelling device. He’s a lover of disruptive media and a follower of @themediaisdying. I was sold at disruptive. I grabbed fifteen minutes with him and asked a few questions – namely how we’re going to save the media before the gangrene really sets in. Follow John on Twitter here.
